(well worth a visit, take your camera).
On Saturday mornings you will find a open market featuring all manner of stalls and supplies, this is located to the rear of the town of Calangute near the Post Office. Calangute Beach is known as "The Queen of Beaches" a bit of a grand title but neverless a great beach, very busy at weekends with visitors from all over India, Calangute is a "love it" or "hate it" place but should be visited for the true feel of Goa.
